The best way to experience your holiday in Friesland is from the water. These so-called houseboats in the marina are perfect for this. And to complete the Frisian picture, they are also located in one of the nicest villages in Friesland, Lemmer.
The beautiful sandy beach of Lemmer is only a few minutes walk from your harbour lodge. Combined with the existing beach club, this is a wonderful place to spend summer days. You will also find the famous Woudagemaal within walking distance. The world's largest, still functioning steam pumping station has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1998. The versatility of Lemmer is on display in the historic centre, where the village's rich history and modern shops merge.
The surroundings of Lemmer offer plenty of opportunities for day trips. For example, rent a boat and discover the beautiful Frisian Lakes. Heerenveen is only 25 km away, and Sneek is 28km.
These nice house boats can be found in small-scale holiday park, located in the Lemster Bay marina. The park is located within walking distance of the pleasant, attractive centre of Lemmer and the beach. Water sports and aquatic life are a central part of life in this area between the IJsselmeer and the Frisian Lakes.
From the jetty, you can reach the house boat which is completely and comfortably furnished. The cosily furnished living room has a TV and the compact open kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and a Senseo coffee maker. There are two bedrooms, one with two 1-pers. box spring beds in a 2-pers. arrangement and one bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. For extra comfort on warm days, the accommodation has air conditioning.
Outside, you have access to a terrace as well as a roof terrace, both with garden furniture. From the roof terrace, you have a view over the marina. You park your car in the central car park of the marina.
These house boats can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. They remain in place at the marina during the stay.
