Situated in the heart of the countryside, this holiday centre is a real oasis of calm, only 3 km from Durbuy. With every luxury, it provides everything you need for a wonderful stay. A wide variety of water and sports activities are on offer in the surrounding area, all centred around the Ourthe (kayak, mountain biking, Adventure programme, horse riding, marked walks, climbing). The picturesque town of Durbuy, often referred to as the smallest town in Europe, offers a good choice of bars and restaurants. Its narrow streets hide a pleasant selection of small shops. Durbuy hosts a variety of events and demonstrations throughout the year, including the famous Christmas market in mid-December. There are other places just as interesting to explore: the Topiary park, the Sunday market in Bomal, the genuine Weris dolmens and menhirs, the toy museum in Ferrières, the 1001 nights caves in Hotton, the Hottemme estate and the Logne fortress.
In 2020, a large number of apartments in Résidence Durbuy was completely renovated and refurnished. You'll basically stay in a completely new apartment in an existing, wooded holiday park.
This modern studio is situated on the first or second floor and features all modern comforts. The furnishings are warm and pleasant. The living room/bedroom features a TV. The bedroom is not separate from the living room, but thanks to the double "high sleeper" idea, you don't see the bed all the time. The modern open plan kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher. In the bathroom, you'll find a bathtub with shower and a toilet.
Some of the studio's of this type come with a furnished patio. At the other apartments, a small outdoor seating area has been created on the landing of the stairs leading up to your front door. This is also complete with garden furniture. You can park your car nearby the apartment.

Het verblijf was zeer aangenaam! Niks aan te merken op het appartement. Het viel wel tegen dat de receptie niks mocht uitlenen (fondue/gourmet/spelletjes/films/pingpongset) terwijl dit vooraf wel gecommuniceerd was. Ook bleek het zwembad dicht te zijn, het was netjes geweest als deze veranderingen waren gemeld in één van de emails. Verder hebben we enorm genoten van de mooie fietspaden in de omgeving en de leuke dorpjes!
Het park is oké en heeft de juiste voorzieningen. Voor ons was de studio aanpassen. Wij vonden het erg donker binnen en het niet rechtop staand kunnen douchen was vervelend.
