Uitstekende ligging. Comfort ok. Personeel heel vriendelijk. Bij het binnenkomen in huisje gaf het geen frisse indruk. Je moet zelf vloer stofzuigen en lakens aftrekken, ook al is het kuisen inbegrepen. Dan zou er toch tijd moeten over zijn om de accommodatie fris te laten overkomen.

Excellent location. Comfort ok. Staff very friendly. When entering the cottage it did not give a fresh impression. You have to vacuum the floor and pull off the sheets yourself, even though cleaning is included. Then there should be time left to make the accommodation look fresh.

The accomodation was clean. But with thin walls so you can hear the neighbours speak. The loft (vide) has no air conditioning so at night you can barely sleep there. There are 2 air conditioning units in the accomodation. One in the living room and one in the bedroom on the ground floor. I would have prefered an airconditioning unit in both bedrooms. So basically due to the high temperature in the loft in the evening, we only have 1 usable bedroom. This is a major fault. The park itself has not much. Just the accomodations and a restaurant. The indoor playground is barely 30m2 in size. The highway is audible as a constant background humming, but for us it was not a distraction.

Een enkele straaljager kon overvliegen, maandag onze aankomstdag was het de hele dag raak. Alle overige dagen meerdere keren per dag.Ook de herrie van de snelweg valt niet mee. 54 decibel de hele dag door. Huisvesting zeer klein voor 4 personen, bijna Spartaans re noemen. Alles is wel goed schoon. Park is kleinschalig en een voordeel is dat je lekker met je hond kan lopen in het bos. Maar terugkomen doen we niet meer.

A single fighter jet was able to fly over, on Monday our arrival day it was hit all day long. All other days several times a day. The noise from the highway is also not that bad. 54 decibels all day long. Housing very small for 4 people, almost Spartan. Everything is very clean. The park is small-scale and an advantage is that you can walk with your dog in the woods. But we won't come back again.

Verblijf is prima. Maar boek niet via Belvilla, de prijs van de boeking is niet correct en via Roompot direct is het veel goedkoper en beter.

Het park als geheel was goed maar het huisje viel ons een beetje tegen, ondanks het feit dat dit vrij nieuw is. Het is duidelijk dat er wat betreft de inrichting, met name het meubilair, gebruik is gemaakt van de goedkoopste rommel die er te krijgen is. De bank in de woonkamer is zó slecht van kwaliteit (plastic gevuld met ?) dat dit eigenlijk niet zou moeten mogen. Deze biedt geen enkele ondersteuning en we kregen al na een kwartier last van onze rug. Eenmaal thuisgekomen hebben we nu nog steeds last van onze rug. Een tweede punt van aandacht is de werkverlichting onder de keukenkastjes. Dat is er namelijk gewoon niet en de verlichting onder de afzuigkap doet hier niets aan af. Het is er absoluut te donker. Verder zou het wat ons betreft prettig geweest zijn als er in de woonkamer voor het raam een normaal gordijn zou hangen in plaats van alleen vitrage. Echter: Prima televisie met een ruim aanbod aan kanalen en een uitstekende wifiverbinding.

The park as a whole was good, but the cottage was a bit disappointing, despite the fact that it is quite new. It is clear that with regard to the decoration, especially the furniture, the cheapest rubbish available has been used. The sofa in the living room is of such poor quality (plastic filled with?) that this should not be to be allowed to. This offers no support at all and our back started hurting after fifteen minutes. Once we got home, we still have back problems. A second point of attention is the work lighting under the kitchen cabinets. That is simply not there and the lighting under the extractor hood does not detract from this. It is definitely too dark. We also think it would have been nice if there was a normal curtain in front of the window in the living room instead of just lace curtains. However: Excellent television with a wide range of channels and an excellent WiFi connection.

`Het was een keurig net huisje, relatief nieuw nog op een rustig park met erg vriendelijk personeel. Er zat een kleine storing in het elektronische deurslot en binnen 10 minuten stond de technische dienst er en werd het opgelost. Al met al een super verblijf gehad.

"It was a neat house, relatively new, still in a quiet park with very friendly staff. There was a small malfunction in the electronic door lock and the technical service was there within 10 minutes and it was resolved. All in all, we had a great stay .

Superleuke en mooie locatie waar wij verblijven. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Jammer dat nog niet alles in het park klaar is,maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. En als het allemaal klaar is,is het zeker de moeite waard om nog eens weer terug te komen. Huisjes zijn schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. En de airco,is bij deze temperaturen wel fijn.

Super nice and beautiful location where we stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a pity that not everything in the park is ready yet, but that should not spoil the fun. And when it's all done, it's definitely worth coming back again. Cottages are clean and fully equipped. And the air conditioning is nice at these temperatures.

Huisje was goed. Enkele tips: Verduistering beneden, felle buitenlamp. Haak aan de muur, voor hond aan te bevestigen.

Ons huis in Roompot Eksel was qua voorzieningen goed. Helaas is er geen enkele privacy op het terras en ook binnen zijn de buren van alle kanten te horen, haast letterlijk te verstaan. Ook je bagage in de huisje krijgen is een hele klus als je wat verder van de weg af zit. De auto mag alleen een kwartier op de weg, de rest lopend en er zijn geen bagagewagens!! Ook de snelweg naast het park raast de hele dag en een groot deel van de nacht langs. Dan af en toe ook nog overdag de F35 ers van vliegbasis in de nabijheid park. Aardige behulpzame medewerkers receptie. Omgeving is zeer bosrijk, moet je van houden, maar talloze fietsroutes.

Our house in Roompot Eksel was good in terms of facilities. Unfortunately, there is no privacy at all on the terrace and the neighbors can also be heard inside from all sides, almost literally. Getting your luggage in the house is also a chore if you are a bit further from the road. The car is only allowed on the road for fifteen minutes, the rest on foot and there are no luggage trolleys!! The highway next to the park also races past all day and much of the night. Then occasionally also during the day the F35 ers from the airbase in the vicinity of the park. Nice helpful reception staff. Environment is very wooded, you have to love it, but countless cycling routes.

Unterkunft war absolut in Ordnung, etwas kahl. In der Umgebung nicht alles fussläufig zu erreichen. Was etwas ärgerlich war, ist der Fluglärm vom Militärflugplatz Kleine Brogel ausging.

Accommodation was absolutely fine, a bit bare. Not everything in the area is within walking distance. What was a bit annoying was the aircraft noise from the Kleine Brogel military airfield.

An und für sich ist der Park ganz okay...vorausgesetzt, dass man nur ein paar Tage bleibt. Es ist fst alles da, was man so braucht. Leider sind wir als Hundebesitzer am anderen Ende des Parks gelandet und müssen somit jeden Tag erst mal den Hund durch den Park nach draussen bringen. Desweiteren ist das Haus nicht sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlen Vorhänge im Wohnzimmer, eine Lampe im Bad, ein Schalter um das Licht auf der Terrasse auszumachen, Bedienungsanleitung für die Klimaanlage und Polster für die Gartenstühle. Auch ein paar deutsche TV Programme wären sehr entgegenkommend. Ein großes Lob geht an das Personal, das super freundlich und hilfsbereit ist.

The park itself is okay...assuming you're only staying for a few days. Everything you need is there. Unfortunately, as dog owners, we ended up at the other end of the park and therefore have to take the dog outside through the park every day. Furthermore, the house is not very comfortably furnished. There are no curtains in the living room, a lamp in the bathroom, a switch to turn off the light on the terrace, operating instructions for the air conditioning and cushions for the garden chairs. Also a few German TV programs would be very accommodating. A big compliment goes to the staff, who are super friendly and helpful.

Het is een prachtig huisje en leuke fietsroutes Als je van fietsen/wandelen houd kun je.je prima vermaken. Het enige nadeel voor ons was dat het centrum op het park niet open was, wij hadden begrepen dat het april 2022 open zou zijn.Dus niet helaas.

It is a beautiful house and nice cycling routes. If you like cycling / walking, you can enjoy fine entertainment. The only drawback for us was that the center of the park was not open, we understood that it would be open in April 2022. So not unfortunately.

Huisje niet schoon en park nog niet af. Je moet altijd weg voor boodschappen en op terras iets te drinken. Huisje inrichting is goed alleen niet gezellig denk aan felle verlichting geen gordijnen in huiskamer. Televisie laat ook te wensen over veel blokjes beeld en haperend geluid. Mensen van park zeer vriendelijk.

House not clean and park not yet finished. You always have to go for groceries and something to drink on the terrace. Cottage decor is good, just not cozy, think of bright lighting, no curtains in the living room. Television also leaves a lot to be desired with many blocks of image and faltering sound. People of park very friendly.

Ideaal als vertrekpunt om fietstochten te maken. Het park zelf biedt nog weinig sfeer. Geen privacy als je buiten zit. Hopelijk wordt dit beter als alles afgewerkt is. Geen verwarming in de badkamer. TV werkt niet goed. Streaming is slecht. Wifi werkt nogthans wel goed. Ik vrees dat het voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar is.

Ideal as a starting point for cycling trips. The park itself offers little atmosphere. No privacy if you sit outside. Hopefully this will get better when everything is finished. No heating in the bathroom. TV not working properly. Streaming is bad. Wifi still works well. I fear that it is not worth repeating for us.

Het huisje is goed, het park kleinschalig waardoor je misschien niet de privacy hebt die je graag zou willen. Verder is het een goede uitvalsbasis voor verschillende uitjes in de natuur. Minpuntje en wat ik zelf heb gemist bij andere reviews, zijn de straaljager die hier elke dag vlakbij oefenen. Hierdoor jammer genoeg geluidsoverlast.

The cottage is good, the park is small-scale, so you may not have the privacy you would like. It is also a good base for various outings in nature. Downside and what I myself have missed in other reviews, are the fighter jets that practice nearby every day. Unfortunately, this causes noise pollution.

Het park is in aanbouw en er zijn verder geen voorzieningen zoals winkel of restaurant. Ook ligt een deel van het park vrij dicht tegen een autoweg aan wat geluidsoverlast veroorzaakt. De boeking verliep erg moeizaam doordat een bedrag aan Belvilla en een bedrag aan Roompot moest worden overgemaakt welke vervolgens verschillende boekingsnummers hadden en niet aan elkaar gekoppeld konden worden.

The park is under construction and there are no further facilities such as a shop or restaurant. Also, part of the park is quite close to a highway, which causes noise nuisance. The booking was very difficult because an amount had to be transferred to Belvilla and an amount to Roompot, which subsequently had different booking numbers and could not be linked to each other.

Mooie propere huisjes - eco concept is leuk. De storage voor fietsen bij elk huisje is subliem - mogen jullie wat meer benadrukken. Ook de folders met uitstappen zijn super interessant. Leuke uitstappen te doen en een lekker restaurantje op wandelafstand "De Meule" Kortom - we hebben een superleuk verblijf gehad

Nice clean houses - eco concept is nice. The storage for bicycles at each house is sublime - may you emphasize a little more. The brochures with excursions are also very interesting. Nice trips to do and a nice restaurant within walking distance "De Meule" In short - we had a super nice stay

Mooie en nette huisjes, zeker voldoende groot voor 4 personen. Meer dan voldoende keukengerei, opbergplaats etc. Comfortabele bedden, sofa… zeker voldoende luxueus ingericht. Vriendelijke en behulpzame dames aan het onthaal. Goed uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Weinig tot niets aan te merken op ons verblijf! (Enkel te hopen dat men alles goed zal onderhouden zodat de huisjes, tuinen, padel… nog lang ‘nieuw’ en netjes mogen blijven.)

Beautiful and neat houses, certainly large enough for 4 people. More than enough kitchen utensils, storage space, etc. Comfortable beds, sofa… certainly sufficiently luxuriously furnished. Friendly and helpful ladies at the reception. Good base for exploring the region. Little to nothing to say about our stay! (Only to hope that everything will be well maintained so that the houses, gardens, padel ... can remain 'new' and tidy for a long time to come.)
